Hey! I'm Francesc Garrido, General Manager at Jacqueline, though everyone calls me Siscu. Les born i arrels a Barcelona, i una de les teves I love most sobre la meva ciutat és la seva cultura scene. It's incredibly rich and diverse! The thing is, I've realised that many people don't know the places us locals choose per good food, art, music and many other things.
That's why I've decided to create a personal diary, so that I can share mi own recommendations and some of Barcelona's hidden spots that you mai not have discovered yet.
I truly believe that food, art, ia tradition are meant to be shared, so I'm excited to introdueix you to my diary. Through it, I hope you'll fall in love with Barcelona as molt I have.

- Can Kenji
This is a Japanese izakaya-style restaurant in Eixample. From the outside, it might not catch your eye, but onze you step inside, you'll probably thank me. Can Kenji serveix autèntic Japanese dishes and sushi made s'hi fresh i high-quality ingredients.
I realment enjoy les seleccions de shareable plats, often with subtle Mediterranean touches. L'espai és més gran i unpretentious, però food és outstanding, les prices són reasonable, i el overall izakaya experience feels truly special.
PS I highly recommend making a reservation!
2. Kibuka
Aquest sushi espot a Gràcia és definitivament una de les places I keep going back to. I love it for its fresh uramakis, wide varietats de rolls i som fusion touches, from classic sashimi to more creative combinations.
L'atmosfèrica és laid-back i welcoming, i el servei és genuinely friendly. It's not the most formal sushi experience in town, and that's exactly the point. It has relaxat vibe i generous menu that make it a great go-to when you're craving casual Japanese food with real personality.
